SuperFly Filmmaking 2009
Squaxin Island, WA:
SuperFly Filmmaking is a camp where 50 kids have 36 hours to make 5 films and one animated intro. I helped the animation group make the intro using black cutouts on lightboxes. We used the Squaxin Island Tribe logo as the center piece of our short, as this is the tribe that hosted SuperFly this year. Two members of the tribe also sang for us, and that is the main component of the audio track. We think it turned out awesome! See pictures from the camp at www.flickr.com/filmandscissors
